Donations in Lieu of Gifts for Your Birthday
Facebook has a mini-fundraiser that allows you to select a charitable organization you would like to support. About two months before your birthday, set a goal birthday amount you would like to raise and post a custom message. Your friends will then see your post and a prompt to donate. The fundraiser automatically ends at midnight on your birthday.
Encourage Your Business to Support YCNS
If your business is open to donating to charitable organizations, ask if YCNS can be considered as a charity to support. Check to see if your business has a charitable matching gifts program where they would match your donation to YCNS.

Thank you for supporting our mission to elevate the voices of young singers and to spark artistic connections with the community. In addition to offering a meaningful experience in the arts, we prioritize creating a joy-filled, welcoming rehearsal space, and are actively engaged with the community.
In addition to learning musical skills and making meaningful connections through song, singing in a chorus allows young people to get in touch with their own humanity so that they can grow to become compassionate and creative leaders in our community.
Youth Chorus of the North Shore does not turn away any singer based on financial need. Your donation not only funds scholarships for these young artists, but also allows us to purchase quality repertoire, hire exceptional staff, rent an inviting rehearsal space, offer exciting performance opportunities, and engage with the community.
